John Gober, DDS

Dr. John R. Gober has extensive experience in the development, management, and operation of dental, oral surgery, and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). In recent years, he has successfully integrated oral surgery and pediatric dental services into traditional ASCs.

With more than 25 years in practice, Dr. Gober has focused primarily on the dental and oral surgery needs of pediatric and special needs patients. This clinical focus has provided him with unique expertise in the financial aspects of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and anesthesia services—including coding, reimbursement structures, and facility fee models used by commercial insurers, state-funded programs, and Medicaid plans.

Dr. Gober also has significant experience in regulatory compliance, particularly with State Board of Dental Examiners’ rules and guidelines, and has worked extensively with Managed Care Organizations at a high level. In addition to his clinical and administrative roles, Dr. Gober is actively involved in organized dentistry. He serves on several boards, including the Medical Executive Committee at Texas Pediatric Surgery Center, and contributes to advancing quality and safety in healthcare as an accreditation surveyor for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
